Our team is made up of passionate and experienced Occupational Therapists, supported by an amazing Office Manager who helps ensure our participants and clinicians are well looked after every step of the way! Together, we share a commitment to helping people live more independently and achieve their goals. Whether it’s problem-solving home modifications, finding the perfect assistive technology, or supporting independence in daily life, we bring expertise, creativity, and a good dose of teamwork to every challenge.

MANAGING DIRECTOR AND SENIOR OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
Laura is passionate about working with adults in the disability and aged care sectors, with a special interest in neurological, physical, and intellectual disabilities, as well as supporting individuals with chronic health conditions. She founded You Therapy Services with the goal of helping people remain living safely in their own homes for as long as possible. Over the years, she has refined her expertise in home modifications and assistive technology prescription, always striving to find creative solutions to everyday challenges.
A country girl at heart, Laura grew up in Gloucester and has lived and worked across London, the Northern Territory, and Western Australia before settling back in Newcastle. When she’s not running the business or keeping up with her three energetic boys, she loves to travel and explore new places.
And while she may be slightly embarrassed to admit it, Laura’s guilty pleasure is unwinding at the end of the day with some trashy reality TV—she can tell you exactly what all the Housewives are up to!

SENIOR OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
Rebecca is a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist, registered with AHPRA. She has been a valued member of You Therapy Services since April 2024. Graduating from the University of Newcastle in 2019, Rebecca has worked extensively with individuals with disabilities, supporting NDIS participants in the community to enhance their independence and engagement in daily life.
Passionate about improving accessibility and quality of life, Rebecca specialises in the prescription of complex assistive technologies and home modifications. She is particularly committed to working with adults with physical disabilities and aged care clients, helping to remove environmental barriers and promote greater participation in meaningful activities. Rebecca is also FIM accredited and has undertaken extensive professional development in complex equipment prescription and home modifications.
Outside of work, Rebecca enjoys camping, spending time with family and friends, and unwinding with a good TV series.

SENIOR OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
Dan is an experienced and dedicated Occupational Therapist within the disability sector. A graduate of the University of Newcastle in 2019, he has worked with both paediatric and adult clients, providing both therapy and assessment-based services. He is experienced with home modifications and assistive technology assessments and is particularly passionate about supporting adolescents as they navigate the transition to adulthood, ensuring they have the skills and resources needed for success. Known for his reliability, diligence, and client-centered approach, he is committed to delivering high-quality, personalised care in every setting.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Dan finds joy in spending quality time with his young family. An avid outdoor enthusiast, he embraces adventure sports such as mountain biking and paragliding, enriching his life with exhilarating experiences outside the office.

OFFICE MANAGER
Karen has built her career providing high‑level administrative support to executives and busy teams, known for her steady presence, strong organisation and unwavering commitment to confidentiality. Her experience spans both corporate environments and small business settings, giving her a well‑rounded perspective on how different workplaces operate and what teams need to feel supported. With a background in executive leadership support, operations and project coordination, Karen brings a calm, reliable approach to managing the many moving parts behind the scenes. She genuinely enjoys supporting others, taking care of the details, and creating the stability that allows the clinical team to focus fully on client care.
Outside of work, Karen enjoys spending time with her husband, two children and their “slightly” spoilt four‑legged family member, Jenny the whippet. Together they love camping, fishing and bike riding.

SENIOR OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
Sarah graduated with Honours from The University of Newcastle in 2005.
Since then, she has built a robust career in community-based roles within the Newcastle Region, in both clinical and management positions. Over the years, Sarah has honed her expertise in complex home modifications, assistive technology prescription and functional assessment, supporting individuals across the lifespan. She has also developed a strong competency in clinical supervision, an area she is particularly passionate about.
As a dedicated mother of three young children, two with special needs, Sarah’s personal and professional experiences have fuelled her passion for advocacy in the disability sector.
In her (limited) spare time she enjoys true crime podcasts, reading a good thriller and getting out for a run/walk in nature.

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
Jordie is an AHPRA registered Occupational Therapist who graduated from The Australian Catholic University in Melbourne in 2019. Jordie has experience working in a range of settings including inpatient acute and rehabilitation hospitals and NDIS community settings across Victoria, Queensland and New South Wales. She has additional clinical experience in public and private health settings in the UK and has recently relocated to Newcastle to continue her career within NDIS assistive technology, home modifications and functional capacity assessments (FCA). Jordie has a particular passion for working with individuals with physical disabilities, to reduce environmental barriers to maximise opportunities for independence and promote quality of life.
Outside of work, Jordie loves to travel and spend time outdoors at the beach or camping. She enjoys social sport and reading fiction novels to relax!

CLINICAL LEAD / SENIOR OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
Neroli is an AHPRA registered Senior Occupational Therapist and the first Clinical Lead OT for You Therapy Services. She graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2005 and has worked in a wide range of settings including inpatient acute and rehabilitation hospitals, adult and generalist community health, community mental health, not-for-profit organisation, in the Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) and now in private practice with NDIS participants and Support at Home Package recipients. Neroli has worked in various OT roles, including in sole OT / rural generalist practice across NSW and QLD, as well as in the NHS and social care services in the UK, before finally returning home to Newcastle in 2019. She has been part of the You Therapy Services team since early 2023.
Neroli is a FIM-credentialed clinician as well as a qualified Access Consultant and Livable Housing Assessor and has extensive experience in complex home modifications, general functional assessment, manual handling, pressure care, falls prevention, home and living assessment and assistive technology prescription. Goal-based and time-limited services for capacity building in daily living skills can be provided by Neroli on a case-by-case basis.
Neroli also enjoys providing professional supervision both within the YTS team and also to external OT's. She is deeply committed to psychological safety, lifelong learning and evidence-based practice while adopting a methodical and pragmatic approach. She loves to support OT's to strengthen clinical reasoning, improve documentation and efficiencies, navigate complex systems confidently, and develop a strong professional identity. Neroli has completed supervision training with Michelle Bihary and Health Education and Training Institute (HETI) and has experience supervising senior clinicians through peer supervision, early and mid-career OTs, allied health assistants, and OT students across public health and private practice contexts.
When not at work, she and her husband mainly spend time ferrying their 3 boys to sport and social activities! She also loves reading a good book, experimental cooking and going camping as much as possible.

SENIOR OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
Amanda is an experienced Occupational Therapist, who graduated from the University of Newcastle in 1994.
Over the last 30 years she has worked across acute, secondary and tertiary rehabilitation roles, gaining extensive experience in the OT role in facilitating independence and achieving goals. Amanda’s expertise lies in complex home modifications, including kitchen adaptions and home automation, helping to create accessible and functional spaces.
Amanda enjoys working closely with clients to determine their goals and collaboratively problem-solve to find the best possible solution within funding criteria and the Australian Standards. It is always rewarding to see the end goal achieved and witness people gaining independence and confidence in their home and community environment.
Outside of work, she enjoys arts and crafts, fellowship with her church family and spending time with her husband and three adult children, who bring her great joy.

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
Sharon is an AHPRA-registered Occupational Therapist who graduated from the University of South Australia in 2002. She brings extensive experience across a broad range of clinical areas and settings in South Australia, New South Wales, and throughout the UK.
After recently taking time away from clinical practice to focus on her family, Sharon has joined You Therapy Services, drawn to its close-knit and supportive team culture and the opportunity to return to the areas she is most passionate about - home modifications and equipment prescription for older adults and people with physical disabilities. She values helping clients maintain independence, safety, and dignity within their own homes.
Outside of work, Sharon spends much of her time supporting her two teenage children in their sporting pursuits and volunteering within local sporting clubs. She enjoys staying active, travelling, and spending quality time with family and friends.
